Chapter 8: Nikki Millman

Nikki Millman is the founder of The Newborn Agency and mom to Ryder age 5 and Georgia age 2. We got to chat with her about her evening routine and some of her favorite products. 

"After we brush teeth, we snuggle in Ryder’s bed. We typically read one book that Georgia picks (Brown Bear is the clear favorite) and one that Ryder picks (loving Book with No Pictures). I’m obsessed with our new Kids Rattan Montessori Bookshelf 

"Then we move to Georgia’s bed to put her to sleep. She always has some sort of gadget with her (her phone, calculator, makeup). We play a game of this or that. Polka Dots or Stripes? Cucumber or Carrot? Eyes or Nose? It’s the cutest thing ever with Georgia as she is really starting to be way more verbal."

"Bedtime! My last two questions are if she wants to go to bed in a car or a boat and does she want it fast or smooth. She loves having agency over what she does at night. She has a lot of opinions which I love."

After letting us peek into her bedtime routine, Nikki told us about her favorite products she uses as a mom. 

"I’d probably have to say the Doona Infant Car Seat & Stroller. Having the car seat and stroller all in one just made life feel easier in those early newborn days. Especially when you’re constantly in and out of the car, not having to move a sleeping baby between a million things was huge. It definitely gets heavy, but the functionality is incredible.

Second would be the Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor. I loved the technology and honestly still use it sometimes with my 5.5-year-old just to make sure he’s actually sleeping."
